VA TECH WABAG Secures 'Mega' SWRO Project in Kuwait
VA TECH WABAG has secured a 'Mega' international order (valued >$150 million) for the Doha SWRO Desalination Plant in Kuwait, marking its maiden entry into the country. The project is awarded by the Ministry of Electricity, Water & Renewable Energy (MEWRE). Key Project Details: Capacity & Scope: 60 MIGD (~272 MLD) Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) plant featuring a state-of-the-art Recarbonation System. Execution Model: 36-month EPC phase followed by a 5-year Operation & Maintenance (O&M) contract. WABAG will lead an unincorporated JV with local partner HEISCO.
