Zydus Lifesciences Launches PEPAIR™, India’s First Affordable OPEP Device

Zydus Lifesciences has launched PEPAIR™, India’s first affordable Oscillating Positive Expiratory Pressure (OPEP) device, priced at ₹990, to improve respiratory care for patients with COPD, asthma, and bronchiectasis. This drug-free, handheld device uses a patented 3-resistance system to loosen mucus, clear airways, and enhance breathing — offering a cost-effective solution for chronic respiratory conditions affecting over 90 lakh Indians. Developed in collaboration with AeroDel Technology Innovations, PEPAIR™ supports non-pharmacological, home-based therapy and aligns with clinical guidelines on airway clearance. Its launch underscores Zydus’ commitment to patient-centric innovation and accessibility. This addition strengthens Zydus’ leadership in India’s respiratory space, complementing its established portfolio of inhalation therapies like Deriphyllin®, Forglyn®, Odihale®G, and Umiflo® Plus.
