GMDC Presents Rs 223.55 Crore Dividend to Govt. of Gujarat

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd today presented a dividend cheque of Rs 2,23,55,40,000 to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendra Patel. The cheque, representing the State Government’s share of GMDC’s final dividend for FY 2025-26, was presented to the Chief Minister by Shri Ajay Bhadu, IAS, Managing Director, GMDC in presence of Dr. Hasmukh Adhia, Chairman, GMDC & Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. The dividend of Rs 9.50 per equity share of face value ₹2 (475%) was recommended by the Board of Directors on May 14, 2026 and approved by shareholders at the Company’s 63rd Annual General Meeting held on September 30, 2026. It entails a total payout of ₹302.10 crore, of which ₹223.55 crore accrues to the Government of Gujarat, which holds 74% of GMDC’s equity.
