HCL Tech Ltd Medium Term Technical Outlook

HCL Technologies Ltd. is showing signs of a significant deterioration in its medium-term price structure after completing a powerful rally from the ₹400–₹500 region to a peak near ₹2,000. The stock's subsequent formation of lower highs highlights weakening buying momentum and a growing bearish influence. More importantly, the breakdown of the long-term ascending trendline has undermined the previous bullish structure, signalling a transition into a corrective phase. The stock is now moving within a descending channel, where the upper blue trendline represents a key resistance barrier and the lower boundary identifies potential downside ***** the stock has recovered from the ₹1,000–₹1,100 zone, where buying interest emerged near the lower channel boundary, the rebound has yet to establish a convincing trend reversal. The ₹1,350–₹1,400 region remains a critical resistance zone, and failure to overcome this barrier could invite renewed selling pressure. As long as the stock remains below its descending resistance line, the medium-term outlook favours a sell-on-rise strategy over aggressive bottom fishing. A breakdown below the recent swing-low region could extend the correction towards ₹1,050–₹1,000, consistent with the downside projection illustrated on the chart. On the upside, a decisive breakout above ₹1,400, supported by sustained trading and a successful retest, would indicate improving momentum and weaken the prevailing bearish setup. The key signal for market participants is therefore a sustained recovery above descending resistance before considering a durable bullish reversal. Until that confirmation emerges, traders and investors should monitor the channel boundaries closely, as they will help determine whether HCL Tech continues its corrective decline or begins a meaningful recovery.
