ASHOK LEYLAND INAUGURATES IT'S FIRST PLANT IN UTTAR PRADESH

has inaugurated it's integrated commercial vehicle plant focused on green mobility at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. Spanning more than 70 acre, the new facility is the company’s most advanced and sustainable plant globally and it will focus on manufacturing electric vehicles. In fact, the plant is designed to produce up to 5,000 vehicles annually. With this new plant, the company is targeting a place among the world’s top 10 commercial vehicle manufacturers with a strong focus on technology leadership to keep products future-ready and globally competitive. The company has reported a profit growth of 284% CAGR over the past 3 years, and this new facility would help the company increase it's profit from the EV segment.
