AUTOMAKER GIANT MARUTI SUZUKI STARTS COMMERCIAL PRODUCTION AT SECOND KHARKHODA PLANT

MARUTI
has boosted it's annual production capacity to 26.5 lakh units with the inauguration of it's second plant at Kharkhoda, Haryana. This new facility, alongside it's existing counterpart, brings the Kharkhoda site's combined capacity to 5 lakh units. The expansion aligns with the company's strategic plan to enhance manufacturing capabilities across it's four key locations. The company reported a strong sales revenue of Rs 183,316 crores for FY26, up by 20% from previous year FY25 sales revenue of Rs 152,913 crores. With this new production facility, the company's sales are expected to further increase in the coming years.
