COAL INDIA TARGEST 815 MILLION TONS OUTPUT AND CAPEX OF Rs 1-LAC CRORE

COALINDIA
has outlined plans to target 815 million tonne coal output and to pursue a capital expenditure of Rs 1-lac crore. The capex plan will focus on mine development, logistics and technology upgrades aimed at sustaining higher output and improving efficiency. It will also fund infrastructure to support evacuation and handling, and investments in mechanisation and safety to reduce operational constraints. Having a market cap of Rs 2.85 lac crores, the company has delivered a strong ROCE and ROE of 35% and 28% respectively. Moreover, the stock price is trading near it's all time high levels, thereby showing a strong momentum. With strong output targets and capex growth, the company's sales and profits are expected to grow in the coming years.
