CONCOR AND GAIL SIGN 15-YEAR PACT TO SET UP LNG DISPENSING STATION AT AHMEDABAD ICD

CONCOR
and
GAIL
have signed a 15-year agreement to establish a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) dispensing station at
CONCOR
’s Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Khodiyar, Ahmedabad. Under this agreement,
GAIL
will have exclusive operational control of the facility and will invest in setting up the retail LNG outlet infrastructure.
CONCOR
will provide a dedicated land parcel of about 3,000 square metres at it's Ahmedabad terminal along with utility connectivity. The project aims to support the transition of India’s heavy-duty commercial logistics sector towards cleaner fuel alternatives.
CONCOR
is engaged in the business of providing inland transportation of containers by rail, as well as it covers the management of ports and air cargo complexes.
GAIL
is an integrated natural gas company in India. Both companies are an undertaking of the Government of India and this agreement is set to benefit both companies in the long term.
