DIXON TO ENTER JOINT VENTURE WITH LONGCHEER FOR ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING
Post receiving government approval last year, electronics manufacturer
DIXON
has finalised a joint-venture agreement with Longcheer Intelligence for local electronics manufacturing in India. The new entity will manufacture smartphones, tablets, AI PCs, and smartwatches.
With a total investment of Rs 10 crore,
DIXON
will hold a 74% stake and Longcheer will hold the remaining 26% stake. Longcheer designs and makes entry level smartphones for Vivo, Oppo, Samsung and other top brands. This collaboration aims to secure production volumes for
DIXON
.
Having a market cap of Rs 61,176 crores, the company has reported a sales growth of 54% CAGR and profit growth of 60% CAGR for the past 3 years. Such new joint venture agreements are expected to further boost the company's sales and profit growth.
