EICHER MOTORS BAGS ORDER FOR 100 ELECTRICITY INTERCITY SLEEPER BUSES

has won a contract from a long-distance bus operator LeafyBus for the supply of 100 electric intercity sleeper buses which will ply on national routes in India. The programme is centred on the Skyline Pro E 13.5-metre electric sleeper coach and foresees a phased rollout, with 35 vehicles scheduled to enter service by March 2026. The buses will be supplied by Eicher Trucks & Buses, part of VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd., the Volvo Group–Eicher Motors joint venture. Having a market cap of Rs 1.95 lakh crore, the company has delivered good sales growth of 22% CAGR and profit growth of 41% CAGR over last 3 years. These new orders will give a boost to the company's sales & profitability in the coming years.
