GMR AIRPORTS WINS BID TO MANAGE DELHI AIRPORT'S CARGO TERMINAL

After the Delhi Airport terminated it's contract with Turkish company Celebi,

GMRAIRPORT
has won the bid to manage the cargo terminal at the Delhi airport. The company will upgrade, modernise, finance, operate, manage and maintain the Cargo Terminal at the airport. The project is based on the revenue share payment model to DIAL for an initial period of up to year 2036 with an estimated revenue share of Rs 340 crore in the first full year of operations. Having a market cap of Rs 89,910 crore, the company has reported a 3-year sales growth of 31% CAGR. FIIs have also been increasing stake in the company from 14.86% in Dec24 to 18.96% in Dec25, showing strong interest in the company. With this new contracts, the company is expected to deliver higher sales in the coming years.
