GOVERNMENT EXTENDS IMPORT CURBS ON SODA ASH UNTIL DEC 31

According to a recent notification issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), the Central government has extended import curbs on soda ash until December 31. This curb was implemented to reduce the imports of cheaper Soda Ash from countries like China, Australia, Indonesia, and Russia, and thereby to protect the domestic manufacturers.
