NTPCGREEN
declared 100 MW capacity of IRCON Renewable Power Limited (IRPL) commercially operational from 17th Sept 2025, increasing its total capacity from 7,272.575 MW to 7,372.575 MW. IRPL is a 24% joint venture (JV) of Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited, which is itself a 50 percent JV of NTPC Green Energy Limited.
On the financial part, NTPCGREEN
reported a significant growth in its revenue from operations, showing a year-on-year increase of around 18% from Rs 578 crores in Q1FY25 to Rs 680 crores in Q1FY26. Likewise, its net profit increased during the same period from Rs 139 crores to Rs 220 crores, representing a rise of around 58% YoY.
