GRSE TO INVEST Rs 2670 CRORE TO EXPAND SHIPBUILDING CAPACITY

will invest Rs 2,670 crore to expand it's shipbuilding capacity through three new facilities in West Bengal, as the defence shipbuilder looks to strengthen it's ability to execute larger and more complex projects. The three facilities will be developed at Raichak, Shalimar and Kidderpore Docks, with investments of Rs 2,500 crore, Rs 100 crore and Rs 70 crore, respectively. The expansion is aimed at strengthening the company's indigenous shipbuilding capabilities and supporting future requirements of India's maritime forces and other defence and maritime customers.
