HCL AND FOXCONN SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING UNIT TO LAY FOUNDATION ON FEB 21

The foundation stone of the

HCLTECH
and Foxconn semiconductor manufacturing unit in the Yamuna City region will be laid on Feb 21. This is a big step in Uttar Pradesh’s push to build a semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem near the upcoming airport in Jewar. The ceremony will be attended by chief minister Yogi Adityanath and Union IT and electronics minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. With an investment of ₹3,706 crore, the plant will come up on 48 acres in Sector 28 under Yeida and is among the six semiconductor manufacturing units approved by the Centre under India’s semiconductor mission. Having a market cap of Rs 3.94 lakh crore,
HCLTECH
has been maintaining a healthy dividend payout of 90.4%. With this new unit, the company's sales and profits are set to increase in the coming years.
