HINDZINC has increased it's renewable energy share to 22% of overall power consumption from 18% in FY26. The company aims to meet nearly 70% of it's power requirements through clean energy by FY28.
During FY26, it has generated 892 million units of green power, up from 632 million units in FY25. The company operates business units across Rajasthan and Uttarakhand, where it has been steadily expanding it's renewable energy capabilities.
With the increase in renewable energy, the company will be able to bring down it's power costs and thereby improve it's business profitability in the coming years.
