HINDUSTAN ZINC PLANS TO ADD THREE RARE EARTH METALS IN NEXT FIVE YEARS

plans to expand it's portfolio by adding three new metals over the next five years, tapping into a pipeline of 10 mineral blocks currently under exploration. The company has recently secured a rare earth mineral block containing monazite in the state of Uttar Pradesh and is awaiting regulatory clearances before commencing geological exploration. Monazite is a mineral rich in neodymium, a key rare earth element used in permanent magnets for electric vehicles (EVs), wind turbines and electronics. The company's stock price is currently trading at a P/E of 18.9, and has given a strong ROCE & ROE of 69.3% & 76.6% respectively. Moreover, the company has been maintaining a healthy dividend payout of 84.8%, making it a strong investment opportunity for regular income.
