HINDUSTAN ZINC TO INCREASE SILVER OUTPUT AS PRICES FOR THE METAL INCREASES

is expected to increase it's silver output by 30% in H2FY26 as compared to H1FY26. Being the country's largest producer of the precious metal, the company expects prices of silver rising to up to $55 per troy ounce by Jan26 from around $51 currently. In fact the company registered it's highest ever revenue and the best earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization for any Sept quarter. Having a market capitalization of Rs 2,04,442 crore, the company has a strong ROCE & ROE of 60.7% & 72.4% respectively. Moreover, it has been maintaining a healthy dividend payout of 164%.
