INDIA'S ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING SECTOR GROWS 6x IN 10 YEARS
India’s electronics manufacturing sector grows 6x in 10 years from Rs 1.9 lakh crore in FY15 to reach Rs 11.32 lakh crore in FY25, currently providing employment to approximately 25 lakh people. Government initiatives like the PLI scheme have fueled both manufacturing and exports in the broader electronics category and the mobile phone segment. Moreover, the total number of mobile manufacturing units has increased from 2 to more than 300 in the last decade.
Apart from this, India's electronics export have grown 8x from Rs 0.38 lakh crore in FY15 to Rs 3.26 lakh crore FY25, making it the country's third largest export category. Stocks to watch out in this sector are - DIXON , KAYNES , AMBER , PGEL , and SYRMA .
