INDIAN HOTELS COMPANY LTD TO CROSS 550 HOTELS POST ACQUISITIONS

has announced that it's hotel portfolio is set to cross 550 properties with 55,000 rooms after the country's largest hospitality firm signed definitive agreements to acquire a controlling stake in ANK Hotels and Pride Hospitality. The transactions amounting to up to Rs 204 crore will be executed via cash consideration and are expected to be completed by November 15, 2025. The company also inked a distribution agreement with Brij Hospitality Pvt Ltd.

's midscale hotel chain brand Ginger Hotels covers the mid-market segment with currently 250 hotels and it is very well positioned to expand to over 500 hotels the next 5-7 years. The outlook for the hospitality sector remains buoyant as demand outpaces supply and India continues to be an underserved hospitality market, especially in the mid-market segment.
With a market cap of Rs 1,09,433 crore, the company's stock price has grown by 25% in the last one year and is currently trading at Rs 765 a piece. It's Q1FY26 results have shown a sales growth of 31.67% and net profit growth of 26.53% compared to the same quarter last year.
