INDIGO AIRLINES LAUNCHES 'LITE' FARES FOR BUDGET TRAVELLERS

As the country's largest airline $INDIGO looks to offer more flexible and lower-cost travel options, it has launched a new entry-level "IndiGo Lite" fare category for economy class passengers travelling with only cabin baggage. Under the Lite fare, passengers will be entitled to carry only a cabin bag of up to 7 kg and will receive an auto-assigned seat at no extra charge. Having a market cap of more than Rs 2-lakh crore, the airline company has reported a sales growth of 42% CAGR over the last 5 years. DIIs have shown confidence in the airlines and have increased stake from 20.66% in Mar25 to 31.14% in Mar26.
