INDIGO NAMED AS BEST LOW-COST AIRLINE IN SOUTH ASIA

has been named as the ‘Best Low-Cost Airline in India & South Asia’ at the 2026 World Airline Awards by Skytrax. The recognition marks the airline’s 16th win as a best low-cost airline across regional categories including India, Central Asia and South Asia during it's 20-year history. The airline also received the ‘Best Cabin Crew in India & South Asia’ and ‘Cleanest Airline in India & South Asia’ awards. Since it's establishment in 2006, IndiGo has expanded it's network and operations across India and international markets. The airline has flown nearly 900 million customers since inception and currently flies more than one million customers every three days. The airline has reported a sales growth of 42% CAGR in last 5 years, and with this new awards, the airline's sales are expected to grow in the coming quarters.
