JSW STEEL PLANS MASSIVE EXPANSION TO ACHIEVE 50 MILLION TONS PRODUCTION CAPACITY

is targeting a massive expansion of it's India production capacity to reach 50 million tons per year by FY31 from the existing 30 million tons. In order to achieve this target, the company has lined up two big projects — at Dolvi in Maharashtra and Utkal in Odisha. Betting on sustained demand growth and the scale of opportunity offered by the domestic market, the company is expected to invest over Rs 2 lakh crore in the next 5 years to achieve this target. The company has recently reported strong Q3 results, with sales growth of 11% and EBIDTA growth of 14% over the same quarter last year. It's share price has surged by 28% over the last one year, making it a good buy for long term growth.
