NHPC ACHIEVES NEW MILESTONE BY RECORDING HIGHEST EVER SINGLE DAY POWER GENERATION OF 169.34 MILLION UNITS

State-owned hydro-power producer $NHPC has achieved a new milestone by recording it’s highest-ever single-day power generation of 169.34 Million Units (MU) on 02.08.2026 during FY2026-27, surpassing it's previous highest-ever single-day generation of 167.02 MU recorded on 01.08.2026. This record has been made possible through the commissioning of the 800 MW Parbati-II Hydroelectric Project, the addition of 1,000 MW capacity at the Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project, and the successful restoration of the 510 MW Teesta-V Power Station. This milestone reinforces the company's commitment to powering the nation with reliable, renewable and sustainable electricity, contributing significantly to India's energy security and clean energy transition.
