RENEWABLE ENERGY COMPANY SECURES USD 560 MILLION ORDER FOR 1 GW SOLAR PROJECT FROM EGYPT

$SWSOLAR , through it's joint venture with Hassan Allam Construction, has secured a USD 560 million EPC order for a 1,000 MW solar project integrated with a 600 MWh battery energy storage system in Egypt. Upon completion, it will become one of Egypt's largest utility-scale renewable energy developments. Under the contract, the joint venture will undertake the complete engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the project. The scope includes the installation of photovoltaic generation facilities, battery energy storage infrastructure, grid interconnection works, transmission facilities and all associated balance-of-plant systems required for project execution. Having a market cap of Rs 5,814 crore, the company is one of the leading end-to-end solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions provider globally and is also engaged in the operation and maintenance (O&M) of solar power projects.
