RVNL GETS Rs 95.27 CRORE ORDER FROM NMDC FOR RAILWAY TRACK REFURBISHMENT

RVNL
has received an order worth Rs 95.27 crore from
NMDC
for refurbishment work related to railway infrastructure at two locations in Chhattisgarh. This contract covers refurbishment of the permanent way of
NMDC
sidings as well as mobile equipment tracks. It also includes maintenance work at
NMDC
’s facilities in Kirandul and Bacheli.
RVNL
will execute the work within a period of 36 months.
RVNL
is a government undertaking and engaged in the business of implementing various types of Rail infrastructure projects in India. This includes doubling of rail lines, gauge conversion, laying out of new lines, railway electrification, construction of major bridges, workshops, and production units. The company enjoys a monopoly business in this segment.
