SMALLCAP COMPANY THAT IS TURNING SCRAP INTO STRATEGIC METAL

Having started operation in the year 1992,

GRAVITA
has become one of the leading name in the recycling business. The company has expertise in the recycling of used batteries, cable scrap, Lead scrap, Aluminum scrap, Plastic scrap, etc. At a time when India depended heavily on imported refined lead,
GRAVITA
concentrated on recovering lead from used batteries. While the business model was simple, it was challenging to execute. However, over the past few years, the scale of processing has begun changing that perception. With a market cap of Rs 10,399 crore, the company has delivered strong ROCE and ROE of 21% each, as well as shown a good profit growth of 48.7% CAGR over last 5 years. Reclycling is now becoming an organized sector in India, and with the favourable government policies, the company is set to benefit from this structural change.
