STEEL AUTHORITY OF INDIA CROSSES 20 MILLION TONS SALES IN FY26
Government undertaking steel plant SAIL has reported 20.14 million tonnes (MT) sales in FY26, which is 11.5% higher than the previous year’s sales of 18.07 MT, marking it the company's best-ever production and sales. This achievement was possible because of the record supplies of 1.25 MT to Indian Railways, as well as surge in exports to 2.90 Lakh Tonnes. The company is successfully expanding into new international markets, including Bhutan.
On the fundamental side, the stock price is currently trading at 1.10 times it's book value making it a fair value investment. Moreover, the company has been maintaining a healthy dividend payout of 28% which is a good income for it's investors.
