THREE CASH RICH BANKS IN INDIA SITTING ON RESERVES OF MORE THAN Rs 3-LAKH CRORE

In a market obsessed with sales & profit growth, cash reserves often get overlooked. But most of the times this is the factor that seperates the strong companies from the weak companies. More than 3 banks are having cash reserves of more than Rs 3-lakh crore in their books. Let's have a look at these banks:

SBIN
- this is India's largest and oldest public sector bank offerring banking and financial services with over 200 years of history. With a market cap of Rs 7,62,957 crore, the bank is sitting on reserves of Rs 4,86,144 crore as of Mar25.
HDFCBANK
- this is India's largest private sector bank by assets, India's third-largest company on the stock exchanges, and world's tenth-largest bank by market capitalization, offerring banking and financial services. With a market cap of Rs 15,28,157 crore, the bank is sitting on reserves of Rs 5,21,024 crore as of Mar25.
ICICIBANK
- the second-largest private sector bank in India offering a diversified portfolio of financial products and services to retail, SME and corporate customers. The group has presence in businesses like life and general insurance, housing finance, primary dealership, etc, through its subsidiaries and associates. With a market cap of Rs 10,18,982 crore, the bank is sitting on reserves of Rs 3,12,481 crore as of Mar25.
