THREE STOCKS IN WHICH DIIs HOLD MORE THAN 50% STAKE TO KEEP ON YOUR RADAR

Strong growth potential and solid fundamentals are driving the DIIs to increase their stake in these stocks and currently their overall holdings are more than 50%. These select stocks are showing strong growth potential and solid fundamentals which is perhaps why they have caught the eyes of the DIIs. Let us understand the factors that make DIIs hold on to these stocks so strongly.

UTIAMC
- the company is a SEBI registered investment management service provider and manages the schemes available with UTI Mutual Funds. UTI AMC is the first from the financial services sector to introduce mutual funds in India and is focused solely on Investment management and related services. DIIs hold 59.47% stake in the company as of Jun25. The company has been delivering continuous growth, and this can be one of the reasons DIIs are holding on to this stock so strongly.
MCX
- operating under SEBI, this is India’s first listed electronic exchange and leading commodity derivatives exchange which offers the benefits of fair price discovery and price risk management to the Indian commodity market ecosystem. MCX India controls over 95% of the commodity futures market and has complete control of the precious metals and stones market. DIIs hold 59.09% stake in the company as of Jun25. This massive holding by DIIs is perhaps due to monopolistic business model that this company operates.
CROMPTON
- this is one of the leading consumer durables businesses in India with a legacy of over 75 years. It offers a wide range of electrical goods such as fans, pumps, electrical appliances, and lighting products which are marketed under the "Cromption" brand. Currently, the company is targeting the solar pump and solar rooftop market as well. DIIs hold 58.93% stake in the company as of Jun25. This high stake from the DIIs is probably due to Compton’s continuous effort to expand and grow.
