TITAGARH RAIL AND BHEL TO FORM JOINT VENTURE FOR MAINTENANCE OF VANDE BHARAT SLEEPER TRAINS

TITAGARH
and
BHEL
will be forming a joint venture company that will handle long-term maintenance of the upcoming Vande Bharat Sleeper trainsets being supplied by their consortium. This joint venture will be responsible for servicing the trains as part of the long-term contract awarded under the Government of India’s Make-in-India and Atma Nirbhar Bharat programmes.
TITAGARH
is engaged in the manufacturing and selling of railway wagons, passenger coaches, metro trains, and other specialized equipments, both in the domestic and international markets.
BHEL
is an equipment manufacturer engaged in the design, engineering, manufacture, erection, testing, commissioning and servicing of a wide range of products and services for the railways and defense sector. This joint venture is expected to benefit both the companies in the long term.
