TVS MOTORS NAMES PEYMAN KARGAR AS NEXT CEO

has named international business head Peyman Kargar as it's next Chief Executive Officer, replacing K.N. Radhakrishnan who has held the role since 2008. This move comes as India's third-largest two-wheeler maker consolidates ​it's position through international expansion and investments in an intensely competitive market, helped by gains in the premium motorcycle segment and a growing EV portfolio. In fact naming an insider for the top role is a ​positive as company insiders are always the better choice for these roles since they are aware of the culture and business model. Having a market cap of Rs 2,04,487 crore, the company has delivered good profit growth of 38% CAGR over last 5 years, and share price has given returns of 56% to it's shareholders in the last 2 years.
