TVS MOTORS OVERTAKES HONDA MOTORS IN SCOOTER SALES FOR THE FIRST TIME IN JULY 2026

has overtaken HONDA MOTORS in monthly scooter sales for the first time in Jul26 as it has ended Honda’s long-standing position at the top of the segment. The Hosur-based manufacturer recorded 2,56,675 scooter sales during the month compared to Honda’s 2,33,337 units which led to a strong lead. The iQube from TVS MOTORS is currently the best-selling e-scooter in the country and it's volumes certainly helped in attaining top status as the leading manufacturer in the segment. Having a market cap of Rs 2,09,000 crore, the company has delivered a good profit growth of 38% CAGR over last 5 years. It has also been maintaining a healthy dividend payout of 21% thereby making it a good investment for regular income.
