GAIL (India) Reports Weak Q4 Earnings, Revenue Slips 3%
$GAIL will remain in focus today after reporting a weak Q4FY26 performance. The state-run gas major posted a 38.4% year-on-year decline in standalone net profit at Rs 1,262.2 crore compared to Rs 2,049 crore last year. Revenue also slipped 2.6% to Rs 34,772.5 crore from Rs 35,685.2 crore. The sharp fall in earnings reflects pressure on margins and softer business performance during the quarter. Investors are likely to watch management commentary on gas transmission volumes, petrochemical demand, and future growth outlook. The stock may witness heightened volatility in today’s trading session following the disappointing quarterly earnings announcement. Disclaimer: Investments in securities are subject to market risk.
