Godrej Agrovet to invest ₹150 crore in Telangana for new dairy processing facility

Godrej Agrovet has announced that its dairy-unit Creamline Dairy Products (brand name Godrej Jersey) will invest ₹150 crore to build a modern dairy-processing plant on 40 acres in Telangana. The company said the new facility aims to produce value-added dairy products, addressing rising demand for protein-rich dairy items and improving supply-chain depth in the State. As per the MoU signed with the Government of Telangana during the “Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025”, this expansion is part of the broader investment plan of the wider Godrej Industries Group — with total committed investments in Telangana now exceeding ₹10,000 crore across businesses. The project is expected to generate over 300 direct jobs within three years, helping improve employment and strengthen local dairy infrastructure. On the back of the announcement, shares of Godrej Industries (parent of Godrej Agrovet) rose nearly 2 percent intra-day, reflecting investor optimism about expansion and diversification of the group’s agribusiness footprint.
