Indian Bank Sees Broad-Based Growth; Market Sentiment Turns Cautious

reported robust YoY growth. Total business rose 13.1% to Rs 14.98 lakh crore from Rs 13.25 lakh crore. Gross advances climbed 13.6% to Rs 6.68 lakh crore versus Rs 5.88 lakh crore, while total deposits increased 12.6% to Rs 8.30 lakh crore from Rs 7.37 lakh crore. However, CASA ratio slipped to 39.86% from 40.17%, indicating pressure on low-cost deposits. Meanwhile, Gift Nifty suggests an over 300 point gap-down opening following Trump's statement about hitting Iran extremely hard in the next 2-3 weeks.
