Petronet LNG Stock in Focus: ₹1,200 Crore CBG Push
Petronet LNG
PETRONET
is in focus after the company approved a proposal to incorporate a 50:50 joint venture with Gruner Renewable Energy Private Limited to establish 10 compressed biogas (CBG) plants across the country.
Each plant is planned with a capacity of 18 MT per day, while the total estimated capital outlay for the project stands at around ₹1,200 crore.
The proposed expansion marks Petronet LNG’s move toward strengthening its presence in the emerging CBG segment. Investors may track further developments around the joint venture, project execution and the rollout of the planned plants.
From a technical perspective, ₹278 is an important level to watch, while the ₹295–₹301 zone may act as a key support area based on the recent price structure.
The stock has seen a strong recent price trend, with price levels remaining elevated. Traders may therefore keep an eye on the stock’s ability to sustain its momentum while monitoring the identified technical levels.
The combination of the proposed CBG expansion and recent price action could keep Petronet LNG on the radar of investors and traders.
