Welspun Enterprises has received two sewer rehabilitation projects worth a combined ₹351.24 crore from the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. The orders have been secured by its material subsidiary, Welspun Michigan Engineers, and involve rehabilitation of two existing sewer lines in Ahmedabad. The projects are scheduled to be executed over a period of 24 months. The latest orders add to Welspun Enterprises’ infrastructure business pipeline and strengthen its presence in urban water and wastewater management projects. The company has been expanding its infrastructure portfolio across water, wastewater and road-related projects. The new contracts come at a time when municipal authorities are increasing investments in urban infrastructure and sewage-management systems. The order win was disclosed to the stock exchanges and placed Welspun Enterprises among the stocks in focus in Monday’s trading session.
