4H Liquidity Sweep Strategy π
One setup I like to watch is the 4-hour liquidity sweep. The idea is simple: Price moves above a recent high or below a recent low, triggering stop losses and attracting breakout traders. But instead of continuing in the same direction, price quickly reverses and moves back into the range. What I look for: β’ A clear sweep of a recent swing high or swing low β’ Strong rejection on the 4H candle β’ Price closing back inside the range β’ Market structure shift after the sweep Entry: After confirmation of the structure shift. SL: Above the swept high or below the swept low. Target: The opposite side of the range or the next major liquidity zone. This setup tends to work best near important support/resistance areas where liquidity is likely to be concentrated.
