Bharat Dynamics: Big Defence Order Boost – Stock in Focus

Bharat Dynamics has received a major new order worth Rs 2,461.62 crore from the Indian Army. This includes Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs) and Surface-to-Air Missiles (SAMs). • ATGMs will be delivered over 42 months • SAMs will be completed in 12 months Recently in November, the company also signed another contract worth Rs 2,095.70 crore for supplying Invar anti-tank missiles. Financially, the company is showing strong growth: • Q2 net profit jumped 76% YoY to Rs 215.88 crore • Revenue more than doubled to Rs 1,147.02 crore Stock update: • Last close: Rs 1,529.50 (+1.03%) • Trading 27% below its 52-week high and 68% above its 52-week low • Market cap: Rs 56,065.73 crore This new defence order may keep the stock in focus as it strengthens the company’s future revenue visibility.
