Bharat Forge Shares in Focus After ₹1,662 Cr Defence Order Win from Ministry of Defence

Bharat Forge has secured a major defence contract worth ₹1,661.9 crore from the Ministry of Defence. The order is for the supply of 2,55,128 CQB carbines (5.56 × 45 mm) to the Indian Army. As per the contract terms, the entire order will be executed over a period of five years. This win strengthens Bharat Forge’s defence manufacturing portfolio, improves long-term revenue visibility, and reinforces its position as a key supplier under India’s indigenisation and Make in India defence initiatives.
