Big Money Moves in May: DII & FII Activity in May Explained.

Here’s a quick look at how big investors moved their money in the Indian stock market in May 2025: Domestic Investors (DIIs) • 30 May: Bought ₹20,673 Cr | Sold ₹11,577 Cr Net Buy: ₹9,096 Cr • Total in May: +₹67,642 Cr invested • This is more than what they invested in March + April combined ₹65,814 Cr. Massive support from Indian institutions. Foreign Investors (FIIs/FPIs) • 30 May: Bought ₹44,435 Cr | Sold ₹50,884 Cr Net Sell: -₹6,450 Cr • Total in May: +₹11,773 Cr invested overall • That’s more than March + April combined ₹4,749 Cr. Foreign money is still flowing in — but with some profit-taking at month-end. What This Means? • Heavy DII buying = strong domestic confidence in Indian markets. • Despite a small dip at the end, FIIs stayed positive in May. • Overall, May saw a big comeback in investor confidence. Markets love money. And May had plenty of it.
