DII & FII activity of Indian Stock Market.

Date: 16th May 2025 Let’s understand what big investors like DIIs and FIIs did in the market yesterday. Who are DIIs and FIIs? • DIIs (Domestic Institutional Investors) – These are big Indian investors like mutual funds, insurance companies, etc. • FIIs (Foreign Institutional Investors) – These are large foreign investors investing in Indian markets. Institutional Trading Data: • DIIs (Domestic Institutional Investors) - Buy: ₹14,749.54 Cr - Sell: ₹16,418.01 Cr - Net Selling: ₹ 1,668.47 Cr 🔻 • DII sold more than they bought, so they were net sellers. • FIIs (Foreign Institutional Investors) - Buy: ₹21,412.00 Cr - Sell: ₹16,019.06 Cr - Net Buying: ₹5,392.94 Cr ✅ • FII bought much more than they sold, so they were strong net buyers. Monthly Trend So Far (May till 16th) • DIIs Net Investment: +18,111.46 Cr • FIIs Net Investment: +14,951.59 Cr What this means: Both Indian and foreign big investors are investing heavily this month, which shows strong confidence in the Indian stock market. When both DIIs and FIIs are buying overall, it's usually a positive sign for the market!
