Who are DIIs and FIIs? • DII (Domestic Institutional Investors) – These are big Indian investors like LIC, mutual funds, banks, etc. • FII/FPI (Foreign Institutional Investors / Foreign Portfolio Investors) – These are big investors from outside India who invest in our markets. Market Numbers (in ₹ Crores) DIIs: • Bought: ₹13,917.99 • Sold: ₹11,129.33 • Net Buy: ₹2,788.66 ✅ FIIs: • Bought: ₹9,365.89 • Sold: ₹8,868.10 • Net Buy: ₹497.79 ✅ What Does This Mean? • Both DIIs and FIIs were net buyers, meaning they bought more than they sold. • FIIs have now been net buyers for 11 straight days. • DIIs have been net buyers for 4 days in a row. This shows growing confidence in the Indian stock market from both Indian and foreign big investors. When FIIs and DIIs are buying, it usually supports the market and can be a positive sign for stock prices. It shows they believe in the growth of Indian companies.
