Dilip Buildcon Wins Big 100 MW Solar Power Project in Madhya Pradesh – Stock in Focus
Dilip Buildcon has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to build a 100 MW solar power project in Mandsaur district, Madhya Pradesh. This project will be done by a joint venture (JV) between Dilip Buildcon (DBL) and APMPL, where DBL holds 74% share and APMPL holds 26% share. The solar plant will supply electricity to the Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam (MPJNM) — the department responsible for water supply — for 25 years after it starts working. The project will be built in Ramnagar and Dhanwada villages and will require about 315 acres of land, which will be provided by the state government. Since it is a captive project, the MPJNM will also invest ₹31.2 crore to hold 26% ownership in the project. This new project adds to Dilip Buildcon’s growing list of achievements. Just last month, the company’s joint ventures received: • A ₹1,115 crore project in Kerala for developing an industrial corridor. • A ₹2,905 crore water grid project in Rajasthan. These continuous project wins show that Dilip Buildcon is expanding strongly in both infrastructure and renewable energy sectors. As of the last trading session, Dilip Buildcon’s share closed at ₹504.45, up 1.98% for the day. The stock’s 52-week high is ₹587.90, and the low is ₹363.45 — meaning it’s currently trading about 12% below its high and 42% above its low. With this new solar project, Dilip Buildcon is moving closer to India’s clean energy goals while strengthening its business growth.
