FII & DII activity on 30-04-2025

Let’s understand what the big investors did in the market today. DII – Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs include Indian mutual funds, insurance companies, banks, etc.) • They Bought: ₹14,429.69 Crores • They Sold: ₹12,637.54 Crores • ✅Net Buying: ₹1,792.15 Crores This means Indian institutions were positive on the market and invested more than they sold. FII/FPI – Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs are big investors from outside India, like foreign mutual funds or hedge funds.) • They Bought: ₹25,189.92 Crores • They Sold: ₹25,139.35 Crores • Net Buying: ₹50.57 Crores Foreign investors were almost neutral, but still did a small net buying. What does this mean? • DIIs are strongly supporting the market. • FIIs are not very aggressive, but they’re not pulling out either. • Overall, it’s a positive sign for the Indian stock market.
