FII & DIIs Activity - 08th Aug, 2025.

On 8th August 2025, Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹16,682.09 crore and sold for ₹8,958.43 crore, resulting in a net inflow of ₹7,723.66 crore. This marks their 21st consecutive day as net buyers, showing strong domestic market confidence. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs), after being net sellers for 10 straight days, turned buyers, purchasing shares worth ₹17,682.11 crore and selling for ₹15,749.30 crore — a net inflow of ₹1,932.81 crore. So far in August: • DIIs have added a massive ₹36,795.52 crore to Indian equities. • FIIs have withdrawn ₹14,018.87 crore overall, despite the positive activity on 8th August. The consistent DII buying suggests strong local support for the market, even during phases when FIIs are pulling out funds.
