FII & DIIs Activity – 19 Sept 2025

Every day, two big groups play in the stock market: • FIIs = Foreign Investors (people/institutions from outside India) • DIIs = Domestic Investors (Indian mutual funds, insurance, banks etc.) On 19 Sept 2025 • DIIs bought ₹14,840 cr and sold ₹12,735 cr → +₹2,105 cr net buying • FIIs bought ₹37,091 cr and sold ₹36,700 cr → +₹391 cr net buying In September till now • DIIs: +₹38,325 cr (strong buyers) • FIIs: –₹10,572 cr (overall sellers) Why it matters: • When FIIs sell, markets sometimes feel pressure. • But DIIs are buying heavily, which is giving strength and support. • This shows Indian investors have confidence in our market, even if foreigners are cautious.
