FII & DIIs activity on 2nd Sept, 2025.

On 2nd Sept 2025, both domestic and foreign investors were active in the Indian stock market: DIIs (Domestic Institutional Investors): Bought shares worth ₹12,904.06 cr and sold ₹10,354.55 cr, making a net inflow of ₹2,549.51 cr. ➝ Domestic institutions continued their strong support, adding fresh money into equities. FIIs/FPIs (Foreign Institutional Investors): Bought ₹8,939.36 cr, sold ₹10,098.84 cr, resulting in a net outflow of ₹1,159.48 cr. ➝ Foreign investors extended their selling streak, pulling money out of Indian markets. Monthly Trend (Sept so far): • DIIs: +₹6,894.44 cr (net inflow) • FIIs: -₹2,589.19 cr (net outflow) Takeaway: September has started with FIIs remaining net sellers, while DIIs are cushioning the market with consistent inflows. Domestic money continues to counterbalance the foreign outflows, keeping market sentiment supported.
