FII vs DII: Who’s Moving the Market?

On 6th August 2025, market flows showed a clear tug-of-war: • DIIs (Domestic investors) bought stocks worth ₹16,760 Cr and sold ₹9,966 Cr — a strong net inflow of ₹6,794 Cr 🔼 • FIIs (Foreign investors) bought ₹11,242 Cr but sold a massive ₹16,241 Cr — a net outflow of ₹4,999 Cr 🔽 Key Trends: • FIIs have been net sellers for 9 days in a row, putting pressure on the market. • DIIs have been net buyers for 19 straight sessions, providing strong support.
